Monifa Jansen
Monifa Jansen; (born March 1993) is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Curaçao Universe 2011 and will represent her country in the 2011 Miss World pageant.

Jansen who stands 1.74 m (5 ft 8 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as the one of 7 finalists in her country's national beauty pageant, Miss Curaçao Universe, held on 2nd, 2011,[1] where she became the eventual winner of the title, gaining the right to represent Curaçao in Miss World 2011.

Jansen will not take part in the 2011 Miss Universe pageant broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011 because she did not meet the age requirement to participate in the pageant. Jansen's first runner-up, Evalina van Putten, will compete instead in the pageant.

Since Jansen couldn't compete in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant she will instead compete in the Miss World 2011 pageant in London, United Kingdom on November 8, 2011, trying to win Curaçao's first Miss World title.

Jansen will now compete in the Miss Universe pageant as she now meets the age requirement.
